Senior AI Program Manager Canada

Lead AI delivery for Canadian public sector and defence clients as a Senior AI Program Manager guiding complex technical programs.
VTRAC seeks an experienced leader for its internal client-facing delivery and advisory practice. You will bridge AI advisory frameworks with operational, technical, and security demands. The work spans government agencies, Crown corporations, and heavily regulated accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee technical delivery from rollout through production scaling
Translate security, accessibility, and compliance mandates into execution strategies
Coordinate communication among engineering teams, clients, and executives
Manage schedules, governance milestones, and delivery risks
Ensure government-grade security, privacy, and performance standards
Requirements:
At least six years managing customer-facing technical programs
Experience in AI/ML consulting or complex software delivery
Familiarity with LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG, and fine-tuning
Understanding of public sector procurement and data sovereignty
Eligibility for Canadian government security clearance
