Class 1 Winter Highway Operator

Use your Class 1, 2, or 3 license to support highway safety with Ledcor Highways Ltd. across Alberta this winter. Operate heavy equipment outdoors.
This winter seasonal operator position runs from October 1st to April 30th, with potential year-round employment. You will maintain Alberta highways while assisting with road repairs, signage cleaning, and hazard remediation. Snowplow and wheel loader experience is an asset, while training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate snowplow trucks during winter highway maintenance
Drive wheel loaders and other heavy equipment
Perform labourer duties supporting highway maintenance
Complete crack sealing and pothole repairs
Work outdoors in changing weather conditions
Requirements:
Class 1, 2, or 3 license with air endorsement
Previous snowplow or wheel loader experience is an asset
Successful pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Clear three-year driver’s abstract
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
