School Bus Driver Sherbrooke

Drive school buses between Fleurimont and Sherbrooke Elementary while maintaining safe, reliable transportation service. This regular position averages four hours daily, Monday through Friday.
Working in the Transportation department, the Bus Driver reports to the Assistant Director of Transportation. The assignment covers route R-53, with morning and afternoon split shifts from 6:30 to 8:15 and 2:20 to 5:05. Duties include transporting people, goods, and materials while following applicable safety standards. The bus is located at 257 Queen Street in Sherbrooke.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a school bus or minibus on assigned routes
Transport people, goods, and materials safely
Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and operational
Complete legally required vehicle inspections
Report defects and maintain road records and logs
Requirements:
Hold an appropriate Class 1 or Class 2 driver's license
Know how to operate the required vehicles
Possess basic heavy vehicle mechanics skills
Understand required preventative maintenance methods
Authorize references and required safety checks
