Assistant Grocery Department Manager

Lead grocery operations with Farm Boy through customer service, team coaching, and accurate merchandising in a hands-on department setting.
As Assistant Grocery Manager, you’ll work alongside the Department Manager to deliver Farm Boy’s fresh shopping experience. You’ll support team development through training, coaching, motivation, and recognition. The position also involves staffing coverage, inventory management, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, payroll, and department cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver warm, confident, engaging customer service
Execute departmental strategies and performance objectives
Lead huddles, share goals, and provide feedback
Maintain merchandising, rotation, staffing, and cleanliness
Support inventory, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, and payroll
Requirements:
Passion for exceptional customer service
Business post-secondary education and one year supervisory experience
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Experience using varied computer software systems
Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Bring grocery leadership, operational coordination, and customer service skills to Farm Boy’s Assistant Grocery Manager team.
