As a Personal Support Worker, you will assist residents and clients with daily activities while respecting their abilities and needs. The position includes transfers, adaptive aids, nutritious meals, safety observations, and family support. Strong organization and communication are required.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and daily activities
Support ambulation, mobilization, transfers, and adaptive aids
Prepare nutritious meals when required
Report care, service, safety, and condition changes
Respond to concerns within decision-making authority or notify supervisors
Requirements:

Personal Support Worker or provincial equivalent certificate
Minimum 600 hours theory and practicum in Ontario and Alberta
Demonstrated personal care knowledge and skills
Organizational and time management skills
Current First Aid and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
