Term School Bus Driver
Louis Riel School Division
Safely transport Louis Riel School Division students as a Term Bus Driver serving Maginot Shops. Supervise students during school and event travel.
This term position runs as soon as arranged through June 30, 2027, or the incumbent’s earlier return. The successful candidate supports students traveling to school or other events. The work requires sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with little supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport Division students to and from school
Transport students to other scheduled events
Supervise students throughout transportation and event travel
Apply Divisional policies and guidelines consistently
Requirements:
Class II Driver’s Licence and School Bus Driver’s Certificate
Completed 60-hour School Division Bus Driver Training Program
Eight hours of annual in-service training
Five years practical driving experience and probationary bus driving experience
CPR Certificate, Respect In School training, and required clearances
Use safe driving, student supervision, and practical judgment to serve Division transportation needs from Maginot Shops.
