Mental Health Registered Nurse
Eden
Support mental health recovery as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse on the Inpatient Unit at Eden Mental Health Centre.
This Nurse II position supports patients through acute illness, stabilization, and discharge back into the community. The nurse acts as a patient resource while encouraging patients to recognize, identify, utilize, and build their capabilities. Experience or training in mental health is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Support patients through acute illness and stabilization
Assist patients preparing for discharge into the community
Encourage patients to recognize their internal resources
Guide patients in managing life with mental illness
Help patients build on their own capabilities
Requirements:
Current CRPNM registration or current CRNM registration
Experience or training in mental health is an asset
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
Satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check
Satisfactory Adult Abuse Registry Check
