Support children’s care and education as an Early Childhood Educator III in Winnipeg, delivering positive programming and safe learning environments.
The Manitoba Métis Federation seeks multiple full-time Early Childhood Educator III professionals for its Child Care Centres. You will assist with Red River Métis-specific programming and curriculum while supporting children’s development, feelings, rights, and relationships. The work includes positive guidance, safety, and responsive care.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain nurturing learning environments supporting Red River Métis-specific curriculum
Establish safe and healthy learning environments
Support children resolving problems and differences with others
Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
Attend monthly staff meetings about children and centre progress
Requirements:
ECE III Diploma or MB ELCC-recognized training
Minimum two years’ Early Childhood Educator experience
Experience supporting children with additional support needs
Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
Required background checks and Manitoba driver’s license
