Schlegel Villages seeks a Registered Nurse for its multidisciplinary Village and neighbourhood teams. You will provide holistic nursing care, guide colleagues, and advocate for residents’ care decisions. The position includes specialized services such as Trach Care, Advanced Wound Care, catheters, tube feeds, and IVs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personal and nursing care to residents
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to colleagues
Advocate for resident participation in care decisions
Maintain plans of care according to policies and orders
Report changes in resident well-being to clinical teams
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Heart Save Level of CPR certification
Current AIS certification
Respectful, caring attitude toward residents, families, and teams
Understanding of physical, mental, and emotional role demands
Bring Registered Nurse registration, specialized clinical care, and resident advocacy to Maynard Nursing Home in Toronto.
