Work with building materials at Thornbury Home Hardware Building Centre as a Full-time Yard Associate serving contractors and retail customers.
This position combines lumber yard work, customer assistance, and material loading. The successful candidate maintains the yard outdoors in all conditions and supports a safe work environment. Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills are required for daily customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:

Load building materials within the lumber yard
Build materials for customer and contractor needs
Assist contractors with building material requirements
Provide assistance to retail customers
Maintain yard conditions during all weather
Requirements:

Customer service-oriented attitude and excellent listening skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or with a team
Valid G License and heavy lifting ability
Previous forklift experience is an asset
Use your customer service, communication, and material-handling abilities in Thornbury Home Hardware’s full-time yard operation.
