Support seniors at Parry Place as a Health Care Assistant, using compassionate daily living assistance and safe mobility support. Work 4 on 4 off from 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Beacon Community Services is expanding Assisted Living services under BC’s new model of care. This temporary Health Care Assistant position ends February 1, 2027, supporting residents in a respectful, home-like setting. You will help promote dignity, independence, and comfort through personal care, companionship, and practical support.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Support safe mobility, transfers, lifts, and assistive devices
Assist with meals, hydration, and comfort routines
Provide medication reminders and self-administration support
Observe and report health or behaviour changes
Requirements:

Recognized Health Care Assistant program completion
Registration with the BC Care Aide Registry
First Aid, CPR Level C, and FoodSafe Level 1
Assisted living, long-term care, or home support experience
Physical ability to perform lifting and transfers
Bring compassionate care, communication, and mobility support skills to Beacon Community Services residents at Parry Place.
