This Food Service Worker handles preparation, service, storage, cleaning, and retail food service duties. The position uses approved recipes, production standards, portion control, and safe food-handling procedures. Customer service includes cashiering, line serving, and resolving concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables
Carry food pans, kettles, and trays safely
Store food using wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
Serve customers efficiently while following service steps
Maintain sanitation, cleaning, and safety requirements
Requirements:
FoodSafe Level 1 Certification
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Good written and verbal English communication
Physical ability to carry out position duties
