Home Depot Receiving Associate
The Home Depot, Inc.
Support accurate freight handling at The Home Depot as a Receiving Associate using shipping, receiving, and powered lift equipment skills.
Receiving Associates unload merchandise, verify quantities and quality, and enter incoming information into store systems. The role requires attention to detail, procedure-following, and learning store tools. Associates may also pick assigned orders using the Order Fulfillment Application and help customers identify products and locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload inbound freight using designated equipment
Compare shipping documents with purchase orders
Enter merchandise information into receiving systems
Stock merchandise and maintain organized receiving areas
Approach customers and determine project needs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of receiving experience
Powered lift equipment licensing required
Attention to detail and procedural accuracy
Ability to lift and move heavy items
Bring shipping and receiving experience, equipment awareness, and customer focus to merchandise operations at The Home Depot.
