Drive freight between stations and hubs as a FedEx Class 1 driver, using safe transport practices, material handling equipment, and ramp procedures.
This interview position transports freight and handles large skidded or multiple-piece shipments. The driver loads, balances, and sequences unit loading devices while communicating with dispatch, hub, and station management. The work requires professional driving ability, map reading, customer service, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport freight safely between stations and hub facilities
Pick up and deliver large skidded shipments
Operate power material handling equipment during loading
Balance and sequence unit loading devices properly
Communicate effectively with dispatch and facility management
Requirements:
High school diploma
Class AZ or Class 1 licence with good record
Required air brake certification
Twelve months heavy vehicle experience preferred
Current dangerous goods and equipment certifications
Bring professional driving, freight handling, and communication skills to FedEx station and hub transportation operations.
