Create personalized Life Skills experiences for memory-impaired seniors as a Life Enrichment Manager with Sunrise Senior Living. Use resident interests and abilities to foster meaningful daily moments.
Sunrise Senior Living supports resident-centered care across Canada while championing quality of life for seniors. In this casual position, you will develop individualized Life Skills, engage residents in familiar routines, and tailor activities using ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information. You will also support documentation and program organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop individualized Life Skills based on resident interests
Engage residents daily through meaningful familiar routines
Organize small groups and enrichment clubs
Review resident information to tailor activities
Maintain Life Skills stations and supplies
Requirements:
At least one year working with memory-impaired seniors
High School Diploma or GED
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability
Group activity leadership experience preferred
Bring memory care experience, activity leadership, and organized programming to personalized resident engagement at Sunrise Senior Living.
