Senior Care Assistant Peterborough

Support residents at Waterhouse Manor Care Home in Peterborough through personal care, compassion, and attentive wellbeing monitoring. Work alongside Avery Healthcare’s Care team.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will help deliver high standards of personal care within a safe, caring, supportive, and inclusive environment. You will contribute to person-centred care planning, support medication requirements, and maintain accurate records. The role also includes supporting staff development and communicating with relatives, visitors, and professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor resident wellbeing and changes affecting care plans
Implement and evaluate person-centred care plans monthly
Support residents with their medication requirements
Undertake staff supervisions and support development
Escalate concerns and respond to reasonable requests
Requirements:
NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes
Two years’ experience in a similar care environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Positive approach to supporting residents and staff
Flexibility across a range of responsibilities
Bring compassionate personal care, care planning, and communication skills to the Senior Care Assistant team at Waterhouse Manor.
