Support resident independence as a Personal Support Worker at Meadow Park Chatham, providing daily living assistance onsite in Chatham, Ontario.
Jarlette Health Services seeks a part time casual Personal Support Worker for its 99 resident long term care home. Working under the Co Director of Care, you will provide direct resident care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, observe health changes, report promptly, and complete required documentation. The position supports residents, families, employees, and communities through established care practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living
Provide comprehensive direct resident care
Encourage and support resident independence
Observe and report changes in health status
Complete required documentation accurately
Requirements:
Completed qualifying personal support work program
Proof of graduation from the education provider
Ontario RN or RPN students may be considered
Good communication skills and computer literacy
Caring, respectful attitude and interest in ongoing education
Bring compassionate resident care, communication, observation, and documentation skills to Meadow Park Chatham as a Personal Support Worker.
