Receiving Associate Freight Operations

Support accurate freight operations at The Home Depot through merchandise receiving, powered lift equipment, and detailed inventory checks. This store-based role requires careful execution.
Receiving Associates unload carriers, verify merchandise quantities and quality, and enter incoming information using store tools such as First Phone. The position includes RGR and DGR processing, freight movement, stocking, and customer assistance. Associates follow receiving standards, safety procedures, and established workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload inbound freight using designated powered equipment
Compare shipping documents with purchase orders
Count cartons and process RGR merchandise
Stock merchandise and maintain organized overheads
Identify damaged merchandise and take appropriate action
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year receiving experience
Licensed to use powered lift equipment
Strong attention to detail and procedural learning
Previous forklift experience considered an asset
