Support student safety as a Lunchtime Supervisor at Our Lady of Annunciation in Richmond Hill, monitoring activities indoors and outdoors. This permanent, 10-month assignment offers five hours weekly.
YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD seeks a Lunchtime Supervisor under the School Principal's direction. You will monitor student behavior, encourage respectful and inclusive interactions, support appropriate play, and communicate concerns. The position starts immediately and follows the CUPE 2331 agreement.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise students indoors and outdoors during lunch breaks
Monitor behavior and encourage respect, kindness, and inclusivity
Report misconduct and atypical situations to school leaders
Support appropriate play and identify out-of-bounds activity
Assist with emergency situations, training, and staff meetings
Requirements:

Less than high school graduation plus additional training or education
Minimum one month of experience
Good communication skills and a positive demeanor
Ability to respect school confidentiality requirements
Experience working with children and monitoring multiple activities
Bring communication, student supervision, and child-focused awareness to lunchtime operations at Our Lady of Annunciation in Richmond Hill.
