Environmental Services Aide Housekeeping

Support clean, safe care environments as an Environmental Services Aide at Prairie Mountain Health’s Tri-Lake Health Centre during day shifts. Laundry and housekeeping experience is valuable.
Reporting to the Manager or Supervisor, Environmental Services, you will provide non-clinical housekeeping and laundry services. The position includes cleaning, linen processing, inventory support, inspections, and infection control practices. Duties follow departmental procedures, established schedules, and government requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean assigned areas using established schedules and guidelines
Wash, mop, wax, vacuum, polish, and dust surfaces
Collect, sort, process, fold, and transport laundry
Inspect areas and maintain equipment before shift completion
Restock supplies and assist with inventory procedures
Requirements:
Grade 9 education under Manitoba standards
Demonstrated dexterity and efficient work methods
Organizational skills and ability to work independently
Communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to respect confidentiality and cultural diversity
Bring organized housekeeping, laundry, infection control, and safety practices to Environmental Services at Tri-Lake Health Centre.
