Lead food service operations with strong supervision, customer service, and food safety knowledge as a Food Service Supervisor supporting daily department activities.
This Food Service Supervisor assists the Manager on duty and Shift Managers across multiple food service units. The role oversees menu production, staffing, cash readings, inventories, sales revenue, labour, and food costs. It also supports employee training, customer concerns, workplace inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise multiple food service units with Shift Managers
Oversee menu production, cash readings, and staffing schedules
Track weekly inventory, sales, labour, and food costs
Address café patron issues promptly and positively
Maintain HACCP, WHMIS, and health safety compliance
Requirements:
At least one year of food industry management experience
FoodSafe Level 1 Certification
Comprehensive health and safety knowledge and training
Strong supervisory, motivational, and leadership skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
