Position Summary

Project Supervisors work directly with our Project Managers to ensure the correct execution and timely completion of projects. Supervising operations personnel and working on various projects in the field ensures the Project Supervisor is always on the move. With their extensive construction/restoration experience, strong organizational abilities, and passion for getting work done on time and under budget, the Project Supervisor is key to On Side’s success.

Compensation
Salary Range: $27 – $33 /hour
Overtime opportunities (where applicable)
On-call premium and overtime paid for rotating coverage

What You’ll Do
Overseeing commercial and residential rebuilds/restoration projects
Collaborating with Project Managers to organize and execute scope of work
Communicating with Project Managers and home owners
Leadership and Coaching Field Staff
Health & Safety on jobs sites
Leading large teams on site (sometimes multiple sites) including in house staff, sub-trades while collaborating with other tradespeople, vendors, clients, and environmental consultants to achieve outcomes
Assist with team schedule as assigned
Documentation of site visits and job progress
Site Safety Inspections
Working on the tools as required
What You Bring
2 years of Construction or Restoration related experience
Demonstrated leadership abilities and a preference for teamwork
Experience in the restoration industry
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Previous experience with flood and fire damage
Knowledge of building materials and schedule of timeline to complete tasks
Commercial and residential experience – renovation/restoration vs new build
Superior communication skills: dealing with homeowners, Project Managers, Stakeholders and employees
Work ethic and the ability to bring this out in others
Tech savvy, ability to document and upload work progress
Strong Organizational skills
Valid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record (we do check)
