Fort McMurray Hospital Maintenance Worker

Maintain hospital equipment and complex mechanical systems with Alberta Health Services in Fort McMurray, using troubleshooting and repair skills. This casual relief role includes varied shifts.
As a Maintenance Worker III, you may perform preventative and demand maintenance across interior and exterior building areas. The work supports safe, efficient operation of patient equipment, hospital equipment, boilers, HVAC, medical air, vacuum, and pure water systems. You may also coordinate and assign work to other maintenance staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform skilled maintenance and repairs on hospital equipment
Troubleshoot electronic components on patient equipment
Monitor and repair boilers and HVAC systems
Maintain medical air, vacuum, and pure water systems
Coordinate work assignments for Maintenance Worker staff
Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education
ABSA 5th Class Power Engineer certificate
Class 5 Alberta driver's licence and acceptable driving record
At least one year plant operations and maintenance experience
Basic Windows computer skills and mechanical aptitude
