Accounting Tax Internship MNP Canada

Gain accounting and tax experience at MNP during a May to August 2027 internship, supporting clients through changing financial reporting needs.
As an Intern on the Assurance and Accounting team, you will work with client engagement professionals and contacts. You will help prepare financial reports, review evidence, manage files, and develop knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, or ASPE. The position also includes bookkeeping, audits, reviews, compilations, and tax exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop technical skills across accounting and tax services
Summarize financial status using client information
Prepare correspondence, reports, summaries, and presentations
Use MNP programs and systems to improve processes
Maintain flexibility to travel as necessary
Requirements:
Commerce or business administration bachelor’s degree in progress
Accounting or finance major preferred
CPA Professional Education Program prerequisites in progress
Previous accounting-related office experience considered an asset
Customer or client service experience considered an asset
Bring accounting coursework and client service experience to MNP while building practical skills across assurance and tax engagements.
