Provide person-centred personal care at Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care, using interpersonal skills to support seniors’ daily needs safely. Permanent day shifts include weekends and short shifts.
As a Personal Support Worker, you will assist clients with daily activities and personal hygiene. You will support physical, social, and emotional needs while following resident-centred care, residents’ rights, government standards, and Yee Hong’s mission. Experience in long-term care is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care for clients’ daily activities
Assist clients with personal hygiene needs
Support physical, social, and emotional wellbeing safely
Follow resident-centred care practices and residents’ rights
Work scheduled day shifts, including weekends and short shifts
Requirements:

Graduate of an approved Ontario Personal Support Worker course
Current CPR certificate
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to problem-solve, take initiative, and manage time
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend considerably
Bring compassionate personal care, resident-centred practice, and strong interpersonal skills to Yee Hong’s senior care services.
