Provide personal care and supportive care in Teulon with Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority’s Home Care team. Help clients remain safe and independent at home.
The Home Care Attendant works under the Home Care Resource Coordinator within a multidisciplinary team. Following care plans, policies, and program standards, you will meet identified needs through personal care, communication, and integrated health-care services. This 0.80 FTE position includes days and evenings.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal and supportive care according to care plans
Support clients’ independence and safety in their homes
Meet identified client needs respectfully and effectively
Collaborate with multidisciplinary health-care team members
Promote integrated, holistic services responsive to residents’ needs
Requirements:

Health Care Aide certificate from an accredited college
Previous experience with elderly or infirm individuals preferred
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for work
Availability for varied shifts and job demands
Bring compassionate personal care, critical thinking, and teamwork to Home Care services supporting clients across the Interlake-Eastern region.
