Inbound Insurance Sales Specialists turn warm pet insurance inquiries into informed enrollments through active listening, objection handling, and clear communication.
Trupanion is seeking a self-motivated, customer-focused specialist for a full-time Canadian position. The successful candidate answers calls and emails, assists current members, explains policies, and navigates escalated or sensitive conversations. An active provincial General Insurance license and at least two years of sales experience are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Set call agendas and guide conversations toward enrollment
Present policy value beyond price considerations
Answer customer questions about coverage and policies
Use assumptive closing techniques during enrollment
Collaborate with sales teams to meet targets
Requirements:
Active provincial General Insurance license or equivalent
Minimum two years of sales experience
Customer-centric communication and problem-solving abilities
Goal-oriented record achieving sales and productivity expectations
Basic computer application and data entry proficiency
Use insurance knowledge, consultative sales techniques, and emotional intelligence to guide Trupanion customers toward pet coverage decisions.
