Internal Audit Accounting Intern

Build internal audit experience at Saputo through financial compliance audits, control testing, and audit documentation. This internship supports students pursuing accounting and CPA careers.
As an Internal Audit Intern, you will support Corporate Internal Audit mandates related to Financial Compliance NI 52-109. The internship runs from January 4 through April 30, 2027. You will plan and execute audits under supervision, evaluate risks and controls, and contribute to recommendations, reporting, and follow-up reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Financial Compliance 52-109 audits
Plan audits and design audit procedures under supervision
Evaluate and test manual and automated internal controls
Document deficiencies, root causes, conclusions, and recommendations
Draft findings and verify management action plans
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
At least two years of study completed
Working toward a CPA designation
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and precision skills
Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Apply accounting knowledge, control testing, and analytical skills within Saputo’s Corporate Internal Audit team.
