Hazardous Waste Processing Technician
GFL Environmental Inc.
Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely as a Processing Technician with GFL Environmental Services at Musselwhite Mine. Work onsite on a 14-days-on, 14-days-off schedule.
This Technician position supports waste handling, organization, documentation, and removal from the mine site. You will verify incoming waste, follow acceptance protocols, operate equipment, and complete paperwork. Safety and efficiency remain central while serving customers and supporting employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify, document, and label received waste safely
Organize containers and load or unload trucks
Operate equipment and follow safe procedures
Complete paperwork and job hazard risk assessments
Maintain clean facilities and provide customer service
Requirements:
Valid G driver's license
Skid steer and forklift experience considered an asset
Ability to perform repetitive tasks during 12-hour shifts
Ability to lift over 50 pounds and stand extended periods
Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
Bring safe waste handling, equipment operation, and organized documentation skills to GFL Environmental Services at Musselwhite Mine.
