Accounting Co-op Student CPA Pathway

Advance toward the CPA pathway through hands-on accounting work with MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team in Kingston, Ontario, on-site.
This four-month Co-op Accountant term runs from January through April 2027. You will work with professionals serving clients across a changing financial reporting landscape. Apply accounting standards, support financial statement preparation, and strengthen your experience with audits, reviews, tax, and bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:

Apply IFRS, GAAP, and/or ASPE knowledge to client work
Perform accounts receivable, payable, payroll, and capital asset walkthroughs
Assess audit evidence for revenues, expenses, and balance sheet items
Establish charts of accounts and prepare posting entries
Collaborate with engagement teams and client contacts
Requirements:

Working toward a commerce or business administration bachelor’s degree
Accounting or finance major preferred
CPA PEP admission prerequisites completed or in progress
Customer or client service experience considered an asset
Flexibility to travel as necessary
Strengthen CPA-ready accounting skills through client engagements, financial reporting, and assurance assignments at MNP.
