Assistant Produce Department Manager

Lead fresh department execution at Farm Boy through customer service, coaching, and accurate merchandising in a hands-on setting. Support daily operations alongside the Department Manager.
As Assistant Produce Manager, you will help deliver Farm Boy’s fresh shopping experience through collaborative leadership and team engagement. Your work includes training, huddles, staffing coverage, inventory management, ordering, and department presentation. You will also support compliance, administration, and stated performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service
Execute departmental strategies with the Department Manager
Train, coach, motivate, and recognize team members
Lead huddles covering goals, achievements, and product knowledge
Maintain merchandising, rotation, staffing, cleanliness, and inventory
Requirements:
Passion for exceptional customer service
Business post-secondary education and one year supervisory experience
Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Computer software experience and systems-learning comfort
Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, standing, and lifting
Bring produce leadership, customer service, team coaching, and operational skills to the Farm Boy department management team.
