Provide registered nursing care at Golden West Centennial Lodge in Winnipeg, supporting residents with complex and unpredictable health needs in person. Apply clinical judgment, treatment administration, and care coordination across evening, weekend, and standby coverage.
Winnipeg Regional Health Authority seeks a Nurse 2 under the Director, Health Services. The position delivers independent nursing services, prescribed medical treatments, healthcare-team leadership, and resident or patient discharge coordination. Recent related experience is an asset, with up to two years potentially required or preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional registered nursing services to residents and patients
Administer prescribed medical treatments independently
Lead within the healthcare team
Coordinate resident or patient care and discharge
Prioritize care amid simultaneous demands
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
Maintain registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
Meet employer CPR training requirements
Demonstrate communication and critical-thinking skills
Manage moderate to heavy physical effort
Bring registered nursing expertise, clinical judgment, and care coordination skills to Health Services at Golden West Centennial Lodge.
