Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care

Licensed Practical Nurse expertise meets long term care at Prairie Mountain Health’s Roblin District Health Centre in Roblin. Work days and nights with 0.55 FTE scheduling.
This clinical position provides comprehensive nursing care to patients, residents, and clients. Practice according to established standards, policies, procedures, legislation, professional ethics, and the Licensed Practical Nurses Act. The role requires CLPNM scope-of-practice knowledge, BCLS training, communication, and sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, residents, and clients
Practice within approved CLPNM scope and entry-level competencies
Follow professional ethics, legislation, standards, policies, and procedures
Obtain and maintain position-relevant competencies offered by PMH
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Hold or qualify for active CLPNM practicing licensure
Maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support training
Demonstrate organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Use Microsoft programs, internet applications, and information technology
Communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality
Bring licensed practical nursing, BCLS, and independent clinical judgment to long term care at Roblin District Health Centre.
