Building Systems Maintenance Technician
BGIS
Maintain HVAC and mechanical systems as a General Repair Technician at BGIS, supporting facility reliability through inspections and corrective maintenance.
This full-time technician role requires three years of preventive and corrective maintenance experience. You will monitor facility equipment, respond to service requests, and support integrated building operations. The work includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and Building Automation Systems knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect facility mechanical, electrical, and other building systems
Perform preventive and corrective equipment maintenance
Respond to routine, on-demand, and emergency service requests
Manage work orders through completion and record resolution data
Coordinate vendors, contractors, repairs, and maintenance activities
Requirements:
High school diploma plus trades training, certification, or licensing
Minimum three years maintaining HVAC or pneumatic systems
Knowledge of facility operations and maintenance practices
Understanding of Building Automation and HVAC Systems
Availability for shifts, standby, and emergency call-outs
Apply mechanical troubleshooting, HVAC knowledge, and safety ownership while maintaining reliable building systems for BGIS clients.
