Provide resident-focused support in Etobicoke with AgeCare Westbury, applying PSW training, care documentation, and infection prevention practices.
As a casual Personal Support Worker, you will assist residents according to their care plans. The work includes monitoring care, identifying needs, documenting information, and maintaining a safe environment. You will also participate in directed education and staff activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with resident care under established plans
Monitor care by observing residents carefully
Report resident findings to the immediate supervisor
Assist with directed onboarding of new staff
Maintain safe and secure resident environments
Requirements:
Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma graduation
Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
Knowledge of simple treatments and related bedside care
Knowledge of geriatric residents’ needs
Knowledge of basic sanitation and cleaning techniques
Use resident care, observation, documentation, and sanitation skills while supporting safe, respectful care at AgeCare Westbury.
