The General Duty Lab Technologist supports clinical laboratory services within Shared Health. Candidates need an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program and current CMLTM registration or eligibility. Previous related experience, Microsoft Office knowledge, CSMLS membership, and French language skills may support consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
Rotate through various laboratory workstations as required
Follow oral and written instructions precisely
Maintain confidentiality of entrusted information
Work independently and as a team member
Participate in standby and callback duties when required
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program
Current CMLTM registration or eligibility for registration
Effective written and oral English communication
Proficient analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Bring laboratory training, CMLTM eligibility, analytical ability, and careful communication to Shared Health’s Selkirk clinical services.
