Assisted Living Alberta seeks a Health Care Aide for its Home Care program. You will provide personal assistance and support services under regulated health professional supervision. The work includes hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, safety, communication, and patient observation.
Key Responsibilities:

Support patients’ activities of daily living
Assist nurses with routine personal care
Support hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety needs
Observe and report patients’ mood, health, and wellbeing
Maintain safe environments for patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements:

Active or eligible CLHA registration or practice permit
Health Care Aide education or certificate within 18 months
Current Basic Life Support certification
Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting
Driver’s license and vehicle required
Bring patient-centred support, routine care, and effective communication to Health Care Aide work in Elk Point’s Home Care program.
