Own HVAC search strategy remotely from Canada, South Africa, or the USA, using technical SEO and content priorities to guide client growth.
Blacksmith Agency seeks an SEO Strategist for a book of HVAC clients, including multi-location HVAC and home service groups. You will set technical roadmaps, determine keyword and content priorities, and explain ranking movement. The agency is AI-first, with writers and AI producing drafts for optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Own technical SEO roadmaps for HVAC client accounts
Manage crawl, indexation, speed, schema, and architecture
Set keyword, on-page, and content priorities
Improve visibility across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity
Report through GA4 and Search Console quarterly
Requirements:
Three or more years of hands-on SEO experience
Experience running audits and making SEO fixes
Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
Clear spoken English for live calls with US clients
Bring HVAC SEO, technical audits, AI search, and client strategy experience to Blacksmith Agency’s remote team.
