Fund Accounting Operations Manager

Lead fund accounting operations at RBC Investor & Treasury Services in Toronto, applying NAV calculation expertise and strong leadership. Manage daily delivery for mutual funds.
This Manager oversees Fund Accountants responsible for timely, accurate fund valuations. The position requires extensive valuation experience, fund industry knowledge, and five-plus years managing within fund accounting. You will guide operational delivery across daily NAVs, distributions, deadlines, and service agreements. MPower knowledge, regulatory awareness, and analytical problem-solving skills support the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Fund Accountants delivering daily mutual fund NAVs
Deliver month-end and year-end fund distributions
Monitor team quality, performance, deadlines, and SLAs
Minimize NAV discrepancies and coordinate corrective action
Manage resources, projects, technology, and process improvements
Requirements:
Accounting or Finance degree or diploma
Extensive experience in fund valuations
Five-plus years managing within fund accounting
Strong knowledge of funds, products, markets, and regulations
Technical NAV, accounting standards, and MPower knowledge
Bring fund valuation, leadership, and operational delivery expertise to RBC’s Toronto fund accounting team.
