SCADA and HMI design define this engineering opportunity with itec group in the Niagara region. Build industrial automation interfaces and systems.
As an experienced SCADA Designer, you will develop and support SCADA systems, HMI applications, control interfaces, and electrical documentation. The work includes PLC, RTU, instrumentation, industrial network, and control system integration. You will also support testing, commissioning, and customer projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain SCADA systems for industrial automation projects
Develop HMI screens, alarms, trends, and data displays
Configure communications with PLCs, RTUs, and control devices
Maintain tags, databases, alarms, and historian configurations
Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer projects
Requirements:
Three or more years in SCADA, HMI, or industrial automation
Experience with SCADA platforms such as Ignition or AVEVA
Experience integrating PLCs, RTUs, and industrial networks
Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC, or OPC UA
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and control documentation
Bring SCADA development, HMI configuration, industrial communications, and troubleshooting expertise to itec group’s Niagara engineering team.
