Field Engineer Ladore Dam Project

Support hydroelectric construction as a Field Engineer with technical coordination, quantity tracking, and site-based work in Campbell River, British Columbia.
Aecon seeks a Field Engineer for the Ladore Dam Spillway Upgrade Project. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will support construction crews, Superintendents, subcontractors, and project management. The work includes drawings, specifications, productivity analysis, quality requirements, scheduling, and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical field engineering support to construction teams
Coordinate daily activities and resolve constructability issues
Track quantities, productivity, progress, and project costs
Prepare schedules, reports, work plans, and technical submissions
Support inspections, records, safety, quality, and field issue resolution
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in civil or construction engineering
Experience in field engineering or similar project roles
Knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, and standards
Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Valid British Columbia driver's licence and required project testing
Bring field engineering, construction coordination, quantity control, and documentation skills to Aecon's Ladore Dam project.
