Electrical Infrastructure Design Technologist

Coordinate electrical infrastructure design for transportation projects at SYSTRA Canada, preparing calculations, drawings, tender items, and field support.
This Electrical Technologist position focuses on producing and coordinating lighting and signal design deliverables for transportation infrastructure. You will prepare technical reports, tender documentation, and engineering drawings while managing project information and stakeholder communication. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare technical reports, tender items, and project documentation
Review wire sizing, voltage drop, and conduit capacity
Coordinate drawings and communication with project stakeholders
Perform subdivision inspections for assumption reviews
Support tender, award, quantity review, and completion administration
Requirements:
Three to five years in illumination design
Three to five years in traffic signal design
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
Proficiency in Civil 3D or AutoCAD
Use electrical infrastructure, project coordination, and technical documentation skills on SYSTRA Canada transportation projects remotely.
