When you complete the program, you’ll step into a permanent management role.
What you’ll learn
Operations:
Yard flow, inventory control, merchandising, safety leadership, and keeping the branch running smoothly every day.
People leadership:
Scheduling, hiring, coaching, and leading union and non-union teams, including real experience in labour relations.
Sales and customers:
The full sales cycle, from first quote to final delivery, and building lasting relationships with contractors, builders, and developers.
Business strategy:
Budgets, margins, market positioning, and action plans that grow sales and market share.
What you bring
A hunger to learn, take feedback, and help others grow
Knowledge of lumber, building materials, or the construction industry
Leadership and communication skills that motivate a team and win over customers
Strong organization and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Comfort with the Microsoft suite
Fluent spoken and written English
You’ll get hands-on training with clear benchmarks, mentorship from experienced leaders, and a defined path to management. This is a program built around your success.
Salary: $60,000 to $65,000 annually
We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental coverage, a company pension plan, and paid time off. Our program is designed to support employee well-being and provide long-term security.
