Earthworks Surveyor CNRL Albian
Ledcor
Support CNRL Albian earthworks with Trimble GPS, grade checks, and as-built surveys during Ledcor’s winter reclamation project.
Ledcor seeks intermediate and experienced Surveyors for work at the CNRL Albian site in Fort McKay. This assignment centers on field surveying for heavy civil construction, earthworks, and reclamation activities. You will work near heavy equipment and foot traffic while maintaining accurate site information and effective crew communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete as-built surveys for active construction activities
Perform grade checks and construction layout in the field
Survey topographic as-builts and calculate stockpile volumes
Track cut and placement areas for earthworks operations
Collaborate closely with construction crews and communicate discrepancies
Requirements:
Minimum three to five years of field surveying experience
Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related education preferred
Strong technical surveying background and attention to detail
Familiarity with Trimble Access and Trimble GPS equipment
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
Bring precise field surveying, Trimble Access familiarity, and earthworks knowledge to Ledcor’s CNRL Albian reclamation activities.
