Covenant Health’s Transition Graduate Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to individuals and families across the lifespan. This supernumerary position supports readiness for independent Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse practice. You will conduct holistic assessments, develop care plans, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and contribute to health system improvement across specialty programs and other settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care across the lifespan
Conduct holistic assessments for individuals and families
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Coordinate interdisciplinary care with healthcare professionals
Practice safely, ethically, and evidence-informed
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited nursing education program
Active or eligible CRNA registration and practice permit
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Health Care Provider certification
Graduate within twelve months before program start
Final practicum in Women’s Health, Labour and Delivery, or Postpartum preferred
Develop independent nursing practice through guided experience, holistic assessments, and coordinated care at Grey Nuns Community Hospital.
