Driver Compliance and Safety Manager
First Student
Support driver compliance and safety at First Student with accident investigations, road checks, and Microsoft Office skills. Lead daily safety oversight.
As Location Safety Manager, you provide operational oversight and work guidance while delivering full safety supervisory leadership. Responsibilities include administering driver hiring compliance, performing driver road checks, analyzing safety trends, and training drivers and attendants on passenger management. You will also prepare accident-related documentation and maintain files.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer driver hiring and compliance requirements
Perform road checks of driver performance
Analyze safety trends and provide reports
Train drivers and attendants on safety issues
Submit accident-related compliance forms
Requirements:
Two to three years transportation or safety-related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of federal and state regulations
Computer literacy using Microsoft Office applications
Consistent attendance and punctuality
Bring driver compliance, road-check, reporting, and safety-training experience to First Student's location leadership team.
