Support jobseekers through integrated employment services as an Employment Consultant in Brampton, using assessment and counseling skills within a hybrid schedule.
ACCES Employment seeks an Employment Consultant for its Integrated Employment Services program. You will support clients through intake, assessment, counseling, referrals, and workshops. The work includes collaboration with project teams, ACCES employees, community partners, and employers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide culturally sensitive intake, assessment, counseling, and referral services
Facilitate workshops supporting employment marketing and retention
Maintain caseloads, files, statistics, and information tracking systems
Build community and employer relationships for referrals and placements
Advocate for clients’ employment, training, and service access needs
Requirements:
Post-secondary education or five years’ related work experience
Experience supporting jobseekers facing complex barriers preferred
Case and file management experience required
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with MS Office and database management systems
