Newcomer Programs Admissions Consultant
Learnwell Institute
Support newcomers pursuing French proficiency and broader plans at Learnwell in Surrey. Use patient consultations, CRM accuracy, and trusted referrals to guide enrolment.
As an Admissions Consultant, you will help prospective students understand whether Learnwell’s structured French pathways fit their needs. Many seek NCLC 5 or NCLC 7 for permanent-residency plans. You will provide clear programme information while routing placement assessments to the Program Director and immigration advice to a licensed consultant.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond within agreed windows to enquiries and campus visits
Explore students’ timelines, French levels, budgets, and schedules
Recommend pathways that genuinely match individual circumstances
Complete enrolment agreements and welcome academic-team handoffs
Track consent, activity, conversions, and pipeline health weekly
Requirements:
At least two years recruiting or advising post-secondary students
Consultative sales experience with individual targets achieved
Comfort with considered decisions and multi-week sales cycles
Strong spoken and written English communication skills
Eligibility to work in Canada and honest CRM records
Combine newcomer-focused advising, consultative sales, and careful referrals to support suitable Learnwell enrolments and student retention.
