Clinical Resource Nurse Rehabilitation

Lead rehabilitation and geriatric nursing care with Halton Healthcare as a Clinical Resource Nurse working 12-hour day shifts. Support patient flow and quality metrics.
This temporary full-time Clinical Resource Nurse contract lasts approximately 18 months within OT 3S Respiratory. The position supervises nursing staff, provides patient care, and supports administrative operations. You will guide admissions, discharges, assignments, rounds, and individualized care planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and assist nursing staff across daily operations
Review rehabilitation referrals and direct patient admissions
Coordinate discharges and general patient flow
Assign nurses according to RN and RPN skill mix
Facilitate interdisciplinary rounds and lead required huddles
Requirements:
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Three to five years of clinical experience
Clinical expertise in rehabilitation and geriatric settings
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Previous Clinical Resource Nurse experience preferred
