Jazz Technical Services is hiring a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for its heavy maintenance division in Halifax. The role involves aircraft inspections, defect troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls, and approved maintenance procedures. You will document safety issues and support apprentices as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect aircraft and assist with system dismantling and assembly
Complete aircraft repairs and component overhauls
Troubleshoot defects and identify root causes
Determine corrective actions using approved maintenance data
Document defects affecting safety, serviceability, or operations
Requirements:
Valid Transport Canada AME Licence, Category S
Ability to obtain and maintain RAIC and AVOP
Valid unrestricted Canadian-issued driver’s licence
Willingness and ability to work varying shifts
English fluency or working knowledge for team communication
